Hi Guys, How are ye all?
On Friday I went along to Foody’s Pharmacy on Harcourt street to celebrate their 1st birthday. I had known of Foody’s Pharmacy as they have a store in Ballina that I would go into every time I am in Mayo. It is amazing as they stock the brands that everybody is looking for.. NYX, Sleek, Ren, theBalm, Caudalie,Avene, MooGooo, Kinvara & so many more. When Elisha from @alongcamepolly emailed me to invite me down to the event I was so excited to go. The amazing blogger @facesbygrace23 was going to be doing a masterclass using the new polish make up brand Paese Cosmetics. I was so excited to meet Grace as I have followed her for quite a while and I follow her daily snapchat. I knew it was going to be great day.
I arrived early so I sat in Starbucks to have an apple juice before the event…here I met the lovely Jen from @toodollymakeup. I had put up a snapchat story of my OOTD, When Jen saw me she knew it was me…She approached me and what a fab lady she is. We were chatting and found out that she is moving up to the town I am from to study! How random!! Such a small world. Anyways, we heading towards Foody’s and Elisha & Grace were outside taking #OOTD photos! You should see the Skirt Elisha was wearing…amazing. Check out their OOTD posts on their Instagram accounts @facesbygrace & @alongcamepollly. I met Grace and she was so lovely, Her make up was gorgeous so I was looking forward to the masterclass to start. We headed into the Pharmacy and I had a look around to see all the amazing products that the pharmacy stock.
There were so many things there that I wanted to buy. I did buy one of theBalm Meet Matt Hughes Liquid Lipsticks in the shade ‘Devoted’ and I bought ‘Fluffy Clouds’ the white nail varnish from the SoSu Nail Polish Collection. I’m looking forward to trying them both. While having a look around the lovely girls that work in Foody’s passed around some Goodie Bags….We got some samples of products that I will definitely be trying out.
There was a cake for their celebration and champagne being passed around too. All of us were spoilt. They organised the day so well and I think everybody was really enjoying themselves.
Grace started her Masterclass and decided to do a brown smokey eye. She was using products from Paese Cosmetics. They’re relatively new to Ireland and are believed to be the next big thing. Very alike to Ingot. They’re not too expensive to buy either. Grace did a fab job on her lovely model. The Paese products seem really good especially the foundation. Grace was wearing it and on herself and the model, It looked flawless.
She went through highlighting and contouring using the Paese products. I loved watching her do the make up. Elisha and Owner Olivia asked Grace some questions as well as all of the other people who turned up for the event. I love Q&A’s. It was good as we got to learn from other people’s questions and Grace was so happy to answer anything that was asked.
It was such a lovely day and I was so delighted to have met Grace and of course all of the other girls that were there. If you’re ever in Dublin you should take a trip to Harcourt Street to Foody’s Pharmacy. All of the staff are so lovely and they have amazing skin care products, Make up products, mens products everything!! They have the best brands in store. Check them out on their social media accounts. @foodysphamacy on Instagram and Facebook. If you can’t make it to one of their stores they take orders over the phone. Happy days!
