Happy December everybody.

Well it has been quite a while. I’m back this morning to tell you all about the products I have been obsessing over in the past couple of weeks. Products that I can’t really live without at the moment.

These could be nice Secret Santa Presents for someone or Stocking Fillers for the make up lovers in your lives.

Enjoy the read ladies…

NYX Powder Contour & Highlight Palette.

2284091_1_-2

This highlight and contour palette by NYX Cosmetics is my new favourite thing in my make up bag at the moment. I love it. I bought this when I was in McCabes Pharmacy in Swords Shopping Centre. I had heard about this coming out maybe last year but it wasn’t anywhere to be seen in Ireland. When I saw it I had to buy it. It retails at €25.00 which is good for what you get.

I have the Anastasia beverly hills powder contour palette and they’re so similar. I have been abandoning my ABH’s palette for my NYX one. There are 8 shades. Four to highlight and four to contour. I love every shade but there is one contour shade called tan that is perfect for me. Girls, you need this palette in your lives.

The powders blends out so well. I use a crown brush contour brush that I’ve been obsessing over too. The two work together excellently. I’ve been loving the product soooo much. NYX never disappoints.

It’s available online here and I’m seriously advising you to buy it haha.

Urban Decay, Naked Skin Concealer – Shade Light Warm

123932039699

I was at the UD counter in blanchardstown and the lady persuaded me to buy this concealer. One of my favourite bloggers Pippa O’Connor had been using this and she was impressed so I had to see for myself.

The lady asked me what I wanted the concealer to do. I mainly wanted it to brighten up my under eye area when applying make up and cover some blemishes. She tried a few shades and the Light/Warm seemed to be best. It is a concealer that you can build up to the amount of coverage you want but even a light application brightens up under the eye.

I love how this is very light weight. It doesn’t feel like I have a tonne of make up on under my eyes. It sets well and doesn’t crease. I haven’t used my MAC prolong wear in a long time.

Its available from Urban Decay counters and online at Debenhams for just €22. Not too bad at all.

Rimmel Brow This Way – Shade Dark Brown

10179410

This is a brow styling gel. It is set to sculpt and define the brows. Now I definitely wouldn’t be using this on it’s own. (I haven’t tried it) I use this after I apply my Anastasia Beverley Hills Dip brow Pomade gel. This Rimmel Product gives me more confidence that my brows won’t rub off during the day. I feel like it sets them in place and I am ready to go for the day.

It is actually very similar to Benefits Give me Brow product that has the same idea. I have been reaching for this product every day. If I forget to use it I fear I’ll have a small gap in my brows.

It’s only €5.49 at boots. Sure where would ya be going. There are 4 shades to suit everybody. Blonde, Mid Brown, Dark Brown and Clear. Its available here on the boots website.

Mac Paint Pot – Soft Ochre.

773602110605

I use this paint pot before applying any eye shadows on the eye. By applying a ‘primer’ on the lid, it brings the best out of all eyeshadow’s. They go on more smoothly, last longer & the colour of the shadow comes out at its best.It covers up any redness that the eye’s may have and stops any oils coming through.

What you do is apply a layer of the paint pot on the eye lid all the way up to the brow bone. Then apply a neutral colour shadow to set it in. Again, If I leave this step out when applying my eye make up, I just feel like my shadows don’t blend for me. A Primer for the eye’s are just as important as a primer for your face.

Available from Mac Counters and online at Brown Thomas for €21.00

Inglot Freedom System Shadow’s

I never had any Inglot eyeshadow until recently and now I am completely obsessed. They’re only €6 each. I have the Flexi Palette from Inglot which allows you to just place pan’s into the palette freely. I have 8 shadows now in it and I love them all. My favourites have to be #51, #327 #55 & #395.

51
#51
#51 is a bright orange colour that has a small bit of shimmer. Its absolutely beaut blended into the crease and then use browns around it.

327
#327
#327 is a warm brown that I haven’t stopped using. Slightly obsessed. It bleeds out well with number 51.

55
#55
#55 is my favourite cranberry shade. I had been using MAC’s ‘Cranberry’ but I felt it looked really pink on my eyes. Since changing and using Inglot’s #55 I love doing cranberry on my eyes. Smoke it out with a matte black and it looks fabulous!

395
#395
#395 is my go to brow highlight or inner corner highlight colour. Ahh it adds so much to a make up look. I love it. Ye all need this highlight for the christmas season.

Inglot shadows are all available to buy on Inglot.ie for 6 euro each. Such good value for what you get. Amazing pigmented eyeshadows that blend out fabulously. 10/10!

A lovely Orange/Red lipstick that is perfect for this festive season. I have been loving this lipstick. I saw one of the girls in M.A.C wearing it and had to ask what it was, of course I had to buy it.
