Hope you’re all doing well. I’m back with a post that is going to be about all of the products I have been loving over the past month or so.
Cocoa Brown – Golden Goddess
First of all I have to talk about this Shimmery dry body Oil by Cocoa Brown. It is seriously out of this world!! Marisa Carter is slaying at life at the moment don’t you think. She just comes out with the best products.
This is just gorgeous to apply over your tan. I use it on my collar bones, shins and even on my cheekbones. It just gives these high points a gorgeous highlight & shimmer. I love that there is no light or dark tint to it therefore it cane used with tan on or for those who don’t wear tan and just want a bit of a glow.
It apply it just with a make up brush if applying to my face or collar bones, and blend it nicely on. Then with the Cocoa Brown Velvet mitt I will apply it to my shins.
Honestly a stunning product. I love Cocoa Brown as all of the products are affordable. The Golden Goddess Body Oil is €11.95 available in Pharmacies and Penneys stores.
Inglot Brush Cleanser.
I don’t know how I ever lived without this brush cleanser. It really is the business. It is an alcohol-based spray with a gentle and effective formula to thoroughly cleanse the brushes. As well as cleansing the brush it helps keep natural and synthetic hair in top condition.
Since starting my make up course at Vanity X Make Up Studio before Christmas, I have really improved my hygiene regime with regards to my make up brushes. They get cleaned twice a week using baby shampoo which means getting all of the bacteria and dirt out of the brushes. This Inglot brush cleanser won’t remove 100% of bacteria. It will just remove dirt and excess eyeshadow etc from the brush temporarily.
I find this product great when doing my own make up, sometimes I may leave my eyeliner brush go hard with liner on it. If so I spray some Cleanser on a cotton pad and just wipe the brush and the bristles return to its soft self and you’re ready to go.
I’m finding that it is lasting me so long too, a little goes a long way. It is available online at inglot.ie & in their stores. It costs 12 euro.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
I bought this foundation at the end of Jan to try out because I felt like I needing an every day foundation to wear into work. I didn’t want to be wearing really heavy foundations in the mornings. I wanted something that was going to be light, dewy, long lasting and good for my skin. I’m wasn’t asking for much was I haha.
I saw this one in Boots and thought it sounded great. The Healthy mix foundation is made to give the skin a radiance boost and leave it looking flawless for up to 16 hours. I have to say it does give my skin a really pretty glow. I don’t think it lasts up to 16 hours as I have found I need to top it up but that doesn’t really bother me.
The foundation has a fruit therapy formula. Apricot for radiance, Melon for Hydration and Apple to protect your youth. I have to say a few people have commented on how radiant my skin looks with the foundation and how healthy my skin is.
The good part is it only costs 12.99! Such a good price for what you’re getting. If anyone asks me what drugstore foundation I would recommend, It would be Bourjois Healthy Mix. It available in Boots and online here.
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Soothing Repairing Balm
This stuff has become my favourite cream ever. I use this after taking off my make up at night-time. It’s a repairing balm that is good for skin that is prone to dry, cracked, or skin tightness.
My skin was so bad so I started using this cream. If I notice spot coming up on my face I will apply this and in the morning it will have reduced or it would have gone completely. I call it my magic cream. I have been using other La Roche-Posay products recently and I have to say they’re brilliant. The cleanser for removing make up is fab. It leaves the skin smooth and clean. This repairing palm is really excellent for my skin anyways. It €12.99 available from Boots.
