2019 – My Favourite Products

As 2019 is coming to an end, I thought I would share with you all of the products that I have adored this year. There have been so many that came out brand new this year, and some others that I have only been introduced to that I wish I had found sooner. I’m going to mention make up and tan products, and believe me if you haven’t tried them you need to now.

Beauty Base by Sculpted by Aimee

I’m going to start with my number one product this year. It’s the Sculpted by Aimee Beauty base primer..I won’t go into it too much as I have a separate blog post about it, but I genuinely can’t go a day without this. It is so gorgeous on the skin and makes me feel super confident when I am not wearing any other make up on my face. The glow is stunning. A little bit of product goes a long way which is great. Aimee has also released a mini beauty base which is so perfect for travelling. You can check out my previous blog post here  and you can purchase in many different pharmacies now and on her website here

Benefit ‘Goof Proof Eye Pencil’

OKAY HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT THIS PRODUCT?!?? I have used ABH Dipbrow for as long as I can remember, but since finding this gem I haven’t looked back! It is my favourite eyebrow product for sure. Why do I like it so much you ask…Well with the Goof Proof pencil, you can do a very natural eyebrow, as well as a more intense brow. When I don’t wear any make up, I always draw on my brows, no matter what. Sometimes a gel can be quite harsh. With Goof Proof it is so easy to start off light and build it up to how you like them. I also love that the pencil doesn’t move. Genuinely 10/10.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Foundation

This foundation is amazing!! It’s my go to always, ever since I bought it a few months ago. Some of you may remember that I did a Instagram story testing it out. I loved it then and I still adore it now. It’s actually the only foundation I have with me in Spain, which says another thing.. one bottle lasts a very long time

CT Foundation on my skin

A little about goes a long way & the longevity of it is brilliant. I apply it for school at 6.30am and when I come home at 6.20pm it’s still in tact! 👏🏼 I think it’s worth €40 for sure. I wear shade 5.5 Natural. It’s perfect for me for everyday wear even when I’m not wearing tan! It’s not a yellow tone or anything so it works for me. I’ve actually just ordered another bottle, just a different shade. I’ve gone for one a little darker just for with tan. I can’t wait to try it.

Chanel ; Soleil Tan De Chanel

Ultimate Bronzed skin look..

This cream bronzer is BEAUTIFUL! It Definitely had to make it onto this list. It’s quite an expensive product but personally I think it’s worth it. It warms up the skin so naturally and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

It’s very different to other contour like cream product I’ve used. Why is this? Well it’s much more natural, it’s blends out so much easier than other products I’ve used. Also, it smells devine and to be honest, there is something about putting on a luxury product. I don’t know, but it just feels so nice on my skin.

I love it most when I’m only wearing my CT flawless filter. They just work really well together.

It’s available in boots! Usually I like to save up my boots points for products like this…totally worth it! 😉

Benefit High Beam

This has been around for years and years but it’s a complete newbie to me. I was introduced to this by one of my friends who adores it and I could see why as soon as I started to use it. Above is a picture in the Zara dressing room when I noticed ‘omg the glow of that High Beam’

It’s a liquid highlighter that is pink toned. I apply this on the high points of my cheekbones just after I apply my under eye concealer, before any powders. It’s so beautiful. Another product I love most when I’m not wearing too much make up! It really gives your skin that healthy glow.

I’ve only ever bought the mini versions which are so handy to throw into the make up bag. They’re available from boots.ie

So they’re my five fave’s of 2019. Hope you enjoyed this type of post. Until next time
